Tuhan Menyelamatkan Umat-Nya di Laut Teberau: Tafsir Historis Kritis Keluaran 14:26-31
Abstract
Keluaran 14:26-31 merupakan rangkaian tulisan yang ditampilkan oleh para penulis Kitab Keluaran yang berbeda seperti oleh mazhab P, Deuteronomis, eksodus redaktor dan diredaksi akhir oleh Pentateukh redaktor. Teks ini memuat rangkaian teks dengan memiliki penekanan tertentu di setiap ayat. Dalam teks ini ditampilkan bagaimana bangsa Israel melihat perbuatan Tuhan yang menyelamatkan, sehingga mereka diajak untuk percaya dan mengimani-Nya. Tuhan dalam memerdekakan dan menyelamatkan umat-Nya dalam peristiwa penyeberangan Laut Teberau membuat mereka menjadi bebas seutuhnya baik itu secara fisik, psikologis dan juga secara spiritual. Penyelamatan yang dilakukan oleh Tuhan tersebut dikukuhkan dengan pernyataan iman mereka (ay.31) yang mengakui keberadaan Tuhan, juga Musa, serta membawa mereka menjadi umat Tuhan. Penyelamatan di laut Teberau juga menjadi pengantar ke dalam hubungan Israel dengan Tuhan, dan itu membawa mereka ke dalam kematian dalam persekutuan dengan Tuhan, selain itu mereka adalah keturunan Abraham dan ketika pembaharuan di Sinai. Pada masa kini muncul pertanyaan masih relevankah Tuhan menyelamatkan umat-Nya?. Di zaman modernisasi pada masa kini, banyak orang tidak lagi melihat Alkitab sebagai sesuatu yang bisa diimani dengan mudah. Namun dalam bahasan ini, akan ditampilkan bagaimana Tuhan menyelamatkan umat-Nya Israel dari segala pergumulan mereka pasca meninggalkan Mesir. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan metode historis kritis untuk mengangkat makna dari teks, dan selanjutnya merelevansikannya kepada umat percaya pada masa kini, bahwa Tuhan dalam melintasi zaman dan sejarah manusia, dengan kemahakuasaannya menyelamatkan umat-Nya dari pergumulan dan persoalan yang menghinggapinya, namun setiap orang percaya dituntut untuk hidup dalam iman kepada Tuhan dan takut akan Tuhan.
